Why We Made Optimum Immunity
Optimum Immunity was created to bring a much broader selection of ingredients together in one formula.
The result is a carefully considered combination of concentrated herbal extracts, nutrients and prebiotic fibre—giving you comprehensive immune support without assembling a long list of individual supplements.
At the centre of the formula is ElderMune™, a highly concentrated 65:1 Elderberry Extract that also provides Sunfiber® prebiotic fibre. It's joined by traditional botanicals including Astragalus, Andrographis, Goldenseal, Pau d'Arco and Siberian Ginseng.
A Closer Look at the Formula
Elderberry Extract
Not all elderberry extracts are equivalent. ElderMune™ is a 65:1 extract, meaning 65 parts of raw elderberry are used to produce one part of extract. Each capsule provides 166.6 mg of ElderMune™, with a dry herb equivalent of 10,829 mg.
Astragalus
A concentrated 4:1 extract providing a dry herb equivalent of 664 mg per capsule.
Pau d'Arco
Provides 133.3 mg per capsule as part of this broad-spectrum botanical formula.
Bitter Melon
A 4:1 extract providing a dry herb equivalent of 300 mg per capsule.
Goldenseal
A concentrated 4:1 root extract providing a dry herb equivalent of 266.4 mg per capsule.
PANICIN™ Andrographis
Provides 58.3 mg of Andrographis paniculata per capsule.
Resveratrol
Provides 16.6 mg of a 50% trans-resveratrol extract from Polygonum cuspidatum.
Siberian Ginseng
A concentrated 12:1 extract providing a dry herb equivalent of 199.2 mg per capsule.
Zinc
Provides zinc in the citrate form as part of the complete Optimum Immunity formula.

Optimum Immunity was formulated by John Biggs, BSc., founder of Optimum Health and natural health practitioner, drawing on more than 35 years of experience in natural health and supplement formulation.
It's part of the practitioner-developed OHV line created to give Optimum Health customers thoughtfully formulated supplements made to rigorous Canadian quality standards.
Recommended Use: Helps maintain immune function.
Recommended Dose: Take 3 capsules twice per day at onset of symptoms. For daily or occasional use, take 2-3 capsules once per day. Take a few hours before or after baking other medications. Take with food. For best results, do not use continually for more than 21 days.
Cautions & Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, auto-immune disorders, or any type of acute infection. Consumption of Goldenseal with alcohol, other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking prescription medication, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use as resveratrol may alter the effectiveness of these medications. Sealed for your protection.
