Coptis chinensis is a traditional Chinese herb in many ways similar to Hydrastis canadensis but it contains a larger spectrum and dosage of alkaloids such as Berberine, Hydrastinine, Coptisine and Palmatine, therefore having an enhanced therapeutic effect.
TCM Meridian tropism: Heart, spleen, stomach, liver, gallbladder and large intestine.
Due to it's action to clear heat, dry dampness, purge fire and clear toxic heat, Goldenseal Coptis has anti-pathogenic effects (anti-viral, anti-bactetrian, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic) as well as improving digestion and spleen function. By doing so, Goldenseal Coptis can reduce inflammation and improve immune response.
Recommended Use: Coptis Chinensis should be used in accordance to the Pharmacopoeia of the Peoples Republic of Chinan to balance homeostatis, support the body digestion system and improve immune response to pathogen invasion.
Recommended Dose: Adults take 1 capsule 2 to 3 times per day. Complementary product: Artemisinin.
